What? For our second Terrapin Brass Recital, we will be featuring timeless standards in the Brass Quintet repertoire by Malcolm Arnold, Morley Calvert, Anthony DiLorenzo, and more! It will also be the final recital that features Liam McConlogue, our webmaster extraordinaire (and the horn player).

Join the 2023 – 2025 Terrapin Brass Quintet for our first recital at the University of Maryland! We will be performing great works by Bach, Bozza, Enrique Crespo, and will be giving a premiere of Marcus Grant’s Ascension for Brass Quintet. If you can’t make it in person, we will post the full recording on our YouTube page this weekend. We hope to see you there!
Music and Community in Response to War

We will be performing for UMD’s free concert in response to ongoing violence in the Middle East and around the world, which aims to provide space for reflection, mourning and a way to support each other in community. Free tickets and livestream link can be found here.
Music at Maryland: All State Clinic Day

We will be kicking off University of Maryland’s free All State Clinic Day for winds, voice, and brass students. UMD invites students who are auditioning for MD All State ensembles for a day of audition repertoire coaching, masterclasses and sight-reading workshops in order to prepare for this year’s All State auditions and beyond. UMD School of Music Noontime Recital

We will be performing all of Ewald’s Brass Quintet no. 3 on the first of UMD School of Music’s Noontime Recital series. Anyone is welcome!
College Park Community Food Benefit Concert

We will be one of several chamber groups performing to raise money for the College Park Community Food Bank. The concert will feature Classical, Popular, Jazz, and Broadway music and will be our first public performance! The concert will be free but there is a suggested $20 donation which can be made here.
